Roubx MTB DISC Brake Wheelset

Carbon mountain bike wheels at this price point represent a serious performance commitment, and the Token Roubx MTB DISC Brake Wheelset is built for riders who demand more from India's demanding trail network. Whether you're descending rocky singletrack near Pune, grinding Ooty climbs, or navigating Coorg's root-strewn forest paths, carbon construction and disc brake compatibility deliver meaningful gains over alloy alternatives.

Use Cases

Daily training. Durable rim and reliable hub bearings for repeat training use.

Race day. Aerodynamic depth and weight-optimised construction for competitive efforts.

All-rounder. Versatile depth and width for road, gravel, or all-road riding.

Our Take

For Indian trail riders, this wheelset addresses two critical needs: stiffness under hard cornering loads on loose, unpredictable surfaces, and reliable disc brake compatibility for the wet descents common during monsoon season. Carbon rims save rotational weight where it matters most — at the rim — rewarding climbers on the Western Ghats with noticeably quicker acceleration. At Rs. 1,09,990, this is a considered investment, not an impulse buy, but one that genuinely transforms the character of your mountain bike.

Sizing for Indian Riders

Wheelset fit depends on three variables: frame axle standard (thru-axle dimensions vary — verify front and rear separately), disc brake rotor attachment (Centerlock or 6-bolt), and cassette driver body compatibility (Shimano HG, SRAM XD, or XDR). India's varied trail conditions also mean checking maximum tyre clearance with your frame — wider tyres suit Coorg and Leh terrain, narrower options suit hardpack Delhi and Hyderabad trails.

Compatibility Notes

Confirm thru-axle dimensions for both front and rear before ordering — MTB standards vary significantly across brands. Disc brake rotor standard (Centerlock or 6-bolt) must match your existing rotors or require new rotor purchase. Carbon rims are tubeless-ready on most Token builds; confirm rim bed type before purchasing tubeless valves and sealant. Use a torque wrench when installing — carbon rims have specific torque limits.

Pairs Well With

Complete your trail setup with a quality tubeless tyre matched to the rim's inner width, tubeless sealant and valve kit for puncture protection on remote Indian trails, disc brake rotors in your preferred standard, and a suspension-compatible cassette matched to your drivetrain. Available with free delivery above Rs. 2,500 and cash on delivery across India.
