RR Carbon Handlebar

The cockpit is where rider and machine communicate most directly. On Indian roads — from the potholed stretches around Pune to the corrugated climbs of Coorg — vibration management, control, and fit are the factors that separate a draining ride from an enjoyable one. The Coefficient Rr Carbon Handlebar is a precision-engineered drop bar built to address all three.

Use Cases

Daily training. Comfortable reach and bar shape for repeat training use.

Race day. Aerodynamic profile and compact drop for competitive fit.

Long endurance rides. Multiple hand positions for fatigue management on full-day rides.

Our Take

Carbon handlebars at this price point make a genuine difference on long-distance Indian rides. The Rr's carbon construction damps the persistent road buzz that comes with patched tarmac on routes like the Western Ghats or the Delhi–Chandigarh highway. For riders spending three or more hours in the saddle, the reduction in hand fatigue is real and measurable. At Rs. 34,700, this is a serious performance upgrade worth considering for dedicated training and sportive riders.

Sizing for Indian Riders

Measure shoulder-to-shoulder and match bar width accordingly — most Indian male riders find 40–42cm comfortable; female riders often prefer 36–38cm. In hot conditions above 35°C, a slightly more upright position reduces heat stress, so consider drop and reach alongside width. European sizing on drop bars translates directly; no conversion needed, but confirm your fit before ordering.

Compatibility Notes

The Rr Carbon uses a standard 31.8mm clamp diameter, compatible with the vast majority of road stems. Confirm clamp diameter before fitting. Carbon bars require strict torque compliance — never exceed the manufacturer's specified torque limit and always use a calibrated torque wrench. Replace immediately after any crash impact, even if no external damage is visible.

Pairs Well With

Complete your cockpit upgrade with a quality bar tape suited to humid Indian conditions, a compatible road stem sized to your reach, cycling gloves for additional vibration absorption on longer rides, and a precision torque wrench for safe installation.
