Run Cap

The 2XU Run Cap is a compact, performance-focused accessory built for riders and runners who train hard in India's demanding conditions. Whether you're grinding through a humid Chennai morning, climbing the Ghats near Lonavala, or logging kilometres in Delhi's summer heat, a well-designed cap quietly handles sweat and sun so you can focus entirely on the effort ahead. Cobbled Climbs is the exclusive Indian distributor for Lightweight in India.

Use Cases

Under-helmet sweat management. Absorbs forehead sweat in 35°C+ heat across Mumbai, Pune, and Chennai conditions.

Sun protection. Peak shields the eyes and forehead from direct sun on long Indian summer rides.

Style and finish. Completes a coordinated kit for daily rides and group rides.

Our Take

At Rs. 2,290, this cap earns its place in any Indian athlete's kit. India's intense sun — particularly on exposed climbs around Ooty, Coorg, or Khandala — demands reliable UV management, and the 2XU Run Cap delivers lightweight coverage without trapping heat. The quick-dry fabric is genuinely useful when sweat builds fast at 35°C+. It's not glamorous kit, but it's the kind of accessory that solves real problems on real rides.

Sizing for Indian Riders

The 2XU Run Cap uses a standard head circumference fit. Measure around your forehead before ordering. Most Indian riders find a standard size works well, though those with a broader head may prefer the larger option if available. The cap is designed to sit low under a helmet without pressure points — worth checking if you plan to use it for cycling as well as running.

Compatibility Notes

Works across running, cycling, and triathlon disciplines. Designed to sit comfortably beneath most road and triathlon helmets. Machine washable — follow the care label, typically cold or 30°C with mild detergent and hang dry. Avoid fabric softener, which can reduce the performance of moisture-wicking fabrics over time.

Pairs Well With

For a complete training setup, pair this cap with a breathable running or cycling jersey, lightweight performance socks, UV-protective arm sleeves for long sun-exposed efforts, and a well-ventilated road helmet if you're crossing disciplines between runs and rides.
