Run Visor Cap

The 2XU Run Visor Cap is a Lightweight, performance-focused headwear option built for runners and active athletes who need sun protection and sweat management during training. Constructed from synthetic fabrics with an adjustable fit, it handles the kind of heat and humidity that Indian conditions demand — from Chennai morning runs to Pune weekend long efforts.

Use Cases

Under-helmet sweat management. Absorbs forehead sweat in 35°C+ heat across Mumbai, Pune, and Chennai conditions.

Sun protection. Peak shields the eyes and forehead from direct sun on long Indian summer rides.

Style and finish. Completes a coordinated kit for daily rides and group rides.

Our Take

Running in India above 35°C is a different challenge to anything a European product catalogue imagines. The 2XU Run Visor Cap earns its place in a kit bag because it keeps the sun off your face without trapping heat on your head — the open-top visor design lets air move freely. For runners tackling routes in Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, or along Mumbai's sea-facing promenades, that distinction matters on every long-run morning.

Sizing for Indian Riders

This cap is listed as One Size with an adjustable fit, which suits the majority of adult head sizes across Indian runners. The adjustable strap at the rear allows a personalised fit regardless of head circumference. In high-humidity conditions, a snug but not tight fit prevents the visor from shifting during tempo runs or sweat-soaked training blocks.

Compatibility Notes

Designed for running but compatible with cycling under a helmet when used as a sweat-management layer. Made from synthetic fabric — machine wash on a gentle cycle, hang dry, and avoid fabric softener to preserve the technical quick-dry properties. Available in Green, Black, Gray, and White to coordinate with existing 2XU kit.
