RX Adaptor

The Tifosi Rx Adaptor is a precision prescription insert designed to bring optical correction into your cycling eyewear setup without compromising coverage or performance. Built for riders who need corrective lenses but refuse to sacrifice the protection and style of dedicated cycling frames, it fits securely behind the main lens to keep your Vision sharp on every ride.

Use Cases

Daily training. Reliable use across Indian training conditions — heat, humidity, and rough tarmac.

Race day. Performance-grade construction for competitive efforts.

Long rides. Built for full-day rides across Western Ghats, Sahyadri, or Nilgiri climbs.

Our Take

For Indian riders who wear prescription lenses, the Rx Adaptor is a practical solution that avoids the compromise of riding in regular spectacles under a helmet. Whether you're navigating Pune's morning traffic, climbing the Ghats on a hazy afternoon, or pushing through Chennai's intense midday sun, clear corrected vision is a safety essential — and this insert delivers that without replacing your preferred Tifosi frame.

Sizing for Indian Riders

The Rx Adaptor is designed to fit specific Tifosi frame models, so confirm compatibility with your existing frame before ordering. European sizing tends to suit medium-to-larger face profiles; riders with narrower Indian face shapes should check frame width specifications. Adjustable nose pads on compatible Tifosi frames help fine-tune the overall fit in high-heat and humid conditions where sweat affects stability.

Compatibility Notes

The Tifosi Rx Adaptor is compatible with select Tifosi sunglass frames — verify your frame model supports the Rx insert system before purchase. A prescription must be supplied to an optician for lens cutting. Clean the insert with a microfibre cloth only; avoid chemical lens sprays that may degrade coatings on the primary lens.

Pairs Well With

Complete your riding eyewear setup with a well-ventilated cycling helmet with wide temple clearance, a sweat-wicking cycling cap to wear under your helmet, a quality microfibre lens cloth, and a hard-shell eyewear case for travel protection on longer touring trips.
