Rx Dxp Trunk Bag

Rear rack-mounted and road-ready, the Topeak Rx Dxp Trunk Bag is built for cyclists who need organised, accessible storage without compromising bike handling. Whether you're commuting through Pune's traffic, grinding up the Western Ghats, or running errands in Chennai, this polyester trunk bag sits securely at the rear and doubles as an off-bike carry with its shoulder strap and handle. Cobbled Climbs is the authorised retailer for Bike Hand in India.

Use Cases

Daily training. Reliable use across Indian training conditions — heat, humidity, and rough tarmac.

Race day. Performance-grade construction for competitive efforts.

Long rides. Built for full-day rides across Western Ghats, Sahyadri, or Nilgiri climbs.

Our Take

For Indian riders who cover daily commutes or weekend century rides in 35°C+ heat, a trunk bag that stays put and keeps essentials within reach is genuinely useful. The Rx Dxp's built-in compartments and reflective detailing make it a sensible pick for early-morning rides around Hyderabad's Hussain Sagar or evening loops near Delhi's cycling corridors. The dual carry options — shoulder strap and handle — mean it works just as well off the bike at a chai stop.

Sizing for Indian Riders

Trunk bags are sized by volume and rack compatibility rather than body size. Before ordering, confirm your bike has a compatible rear rack — road bikes with standard rack eyelets work well. Riders carrying bulkier loads in Kolkata commutes or Ooty touring runs should check the compartment dimensions against their kit. Contact Cobbled Climbs if you need guidance on rack fit.

Compatibility Notes

The Rx Dxp is designed for road bikes and mounts to a standard rear rack. Verify your rack's rail width and mounting interface before purchase. The polyester construction handles humidity and light rain well; for heavy monsoon use across Mumbai or Coorg routes, supplement with a rain cover or waterproof inner liners for sensitive gear.

Pairs Well With

Complete your setup with a rear rack that fits your road bike's dropout eyelets, a compact multi-tool for trailside fixes, a frame bag or saddle pack for overflow storage on longer rides, and a set of LED rear lights to complement the bag's reflective trim on pre-dawn commutes.
