S Tour 28 Presta 42mm

The Continental S Tour 28 Presta 42mm is an inner tube designed for 700c wheels, suited to road, hybrid, and mountain bikes. With a 42mm Presta valve stem, it clears deeper rims cleanly while offering a reliable airtight seal — a practical choice for daily riders across India's varied road surfaces, from Pune's potholed city lanes to the long tarmac descents of Lonavala and Khandala.

Use Cases

Daily training. Reliable use across Indian training conditions — heat, humidity, and rough tarmac.

Race day. Performance-grade construction for competitive efforts.

Long rides. Built for full-day rides across Western Ghats, Sahyadri, or Nilgiri climbs.

Our Take

For riders commuting or training on 700c wheels in Indian cities, this Continental tube is a dependable, no-fuss option. The 42mm Presta valve length handles standard alloy and moderately deep carbon rims. Continental's manufacturing consistency means fewer pinhole failures — important when you're mid-ride on a hot Delhi afternoon or climbing towards Coorg with no bike shop nearby. Keep one in your saddle bag at all times.

Sizing for Indian Riders

This tube is sized for 700c wheels — the standard on road bikes, most hybrids, and many fitness bikes sold in India. Check your tyre's sidewall width marking: this tube accommodates a range of road and light touring tyre widths. If you ride wider city or gravel tyres, verify the tube's stated width range on the label before fitting.

Compatibility Notes

Presta valves require a Presta-compatible pump head — verify your track pump or mini-pump before purchase. The 42mm stem length suits standard-depth alloy rims; very deep aero rims may need a longer valve. Compatible with hooked and hookless clincher rims. Not for tubeless setups.

Pairs Well With

Complete your puncture-readiness kit with a quality Presta-head floor pump, a compact CO2 inflator for roadside emergencies, reliable tyre levers, and a puncture repair patch kit. Pairing with a Continental tyre of the same wheel size ensures consistent performance.
