Description

Whether you are grinding up the Western Ghats between Pune and Lonavala, logging early-morning laps in Delhi, or tracking structured intervals in Chennai's humidity, accurate speed and cadence data is the foundation of smarter training. The Magene S314 Speed Cadence Dual Mode Sensor delivers that data wirelessly, working with both ANT+ and Bluetooth devices so your existing setup stays intact.

Use Cases

Daily training. Reliable navigation and ride tracking for structured training rides.

Race day. Real-time data display for power, heart rate, and pacing.

Long routes. Turn-by-turn navigation for unfamiliar Indian routes and destination rides.

Our Take

The S314 is one of the most practical upgrades an Indian cyclist can make. Cadence data alone transforms how you tackle climbs — knowing your pedalling rhythm on a Coorg descent or a Khandala switchback helps you pace effort intelligently. In India's heat, maintaining optimal cadence reduces muscular fatigue faster than grinding a big gear. Dual-mode transmission means it pairs with virtually any head unit or smartphone app you already own, without fuss.

Sizing for Indian Riders

The S314 is a sensor, not a wearable, so conventional apparel sizing does not apply. Confirm your wheel size and crank arm compatibility before mounting. The sensor attaches to the chainstay and crank arm, fitting most road and MTB frames sold in India. If your bike has a non-standard frame profile, contact Cobbled Climbs for mounting advice before ordering.

Compatibility Notes

The S314 transmits over both ANT+ and Bluetooth Smart simultaneously, making it compatible with Garmin, Wahoo, Bryton, and Magene head units, as well as iOS and Android training apps including Strava, Zwift, and TrainingPeaks. The sensor mounts via a zip-tie or rubber band system. Keep the mounting band clean and check it periodically after monsoon rides to prevent slippage on wet chainstays.

Pairs Well With

Complete your data setup by pairing the S314 with a cycling computer or GPS head unit, a heart rate monitor for combined training metrics, a cadence-focused training app subscription, and a weatherproof handlebar mount to protect your display during monsoon season riding across India.

Fitting

The Magene S314 is a bicycle-mounted sensor and does not follow clothing or shoe sizing. It is designed to fit a wide range of road, gravel, and mountain bike frames using its included mounting hardware. Before ordering, verify that your chainstay width and crank arm style are standard — most Indian market bikes are compatible. If you ride a bike with an unusual frame geometry or carbon chainstay, reach out to the Cobbled Climbs team for fitting confirmation prior to purchase.
