S5 Series Road Bike Frameset

The Cervelo S5 Series Road Bike Frameset is a declaration of purpose. Built for riders who train seriously — whether on the punishing climbs of the Western Ghats, the fast flats around Hyderabad, or weekend loops out of Pune — this carbon frameset brings race-proven geometry and material sophistication to every kilometre.

Use Cases

Race day. Aerodynamic and stiff construction for competitive efforts.

Daily training. Comfort and reliability for repeat training rides.

All-road and gravel. Versatile geometry for road, gravel, and all-road exploration in India.

Our Take

The S5 has long been Cervelo's aero road weapon of choice, and the Series frameset brings that pedigree to self-builders who know exactly what they want. For Indian conditions — heat above 35°C, rough Ghat descents, and monsoon-slicked roads — a disc-brake carbon frame with dialled geometry is not a luxury; it is the correct tool. This frameset, in Carnelian, rewards a thoughtful build with serious components.

Sizing for Indian Riders

Cervelo uses seat-tube length or S/M/L sizing depending on the model year. Indian riders tend to have shorter torsos relative to inseam, which can affect reach. Consult the Cervelo stack and reach chart carefully. In heat above 35°C, a slightly more upright position reduces fatigue on longer efforts. When between sizes, size down for aggressive racing positions and up for endurance comfort.

Compatibility Notes

Disc-brake mount type is confirmed from product tags — verify flat-mount versus post-mount before ordering calipers. Confirm bottom bracket standard (BSA, PF30, BB86, or T47), headset dimensions, and seatpost diameter against the Cervelo spec sheet. Tyre clearance should be verified before selecting wheels. Contact Cobbled Climbs' build team for component pairing guidance.
