Saddle Bag

Long rides across the Western Ghats, multi-day bikepacking through Coorg or Spiti, or a fast century out of Pune — every serious cyclist eventually needs secure, weather-resistant storage. The Restrap Saddle Bag is built for riders who demand reliable load-carrying without compromising pedalling efficiency or risking gear to India's unpredictable monsoon downpours.

Use Cases

Daily training. All-day comfort across 2-3 hour training rides in Indian conditions.

Race day. Race-cut profile with cutout for time-trial and aggressive fit positions.

Long endurance rides. Pressure-relief construction for rides exceeding four hours.

Our Take

Restrap has earned a strong reputation among bikepacking riders globally, and that credibility translates well to Indian conditions. Whether you're navigating the Lonavala climbs on a loaded weekend ride or pushing through Chennai's sticky coastal heat, this saddle bag stays firmly in place and keeps contents dry. The mounting system inspires confidence on broken roads, potholed tarmac, and gravel alike — a genuine consideration for riding anywhere in India.

Sizing for Indian Riders

Saddle bags fit saddle rails and seatposts rather than body measurements, but your saddle width and seatpost diameter still matter for a secure mount. Riders on wider saddles or aero seatposts should verify compatibility before ordering. Cobbled Climbs' team can advise on fitment — contact us if you're unsure whether your setup suits this bag's attachment system.

Compatibility Notes

The Restrap Saddle Bag uses a strap-based mounting system compatible with most round and mildly aero seatposts and standard saddle rails. It is not recommended for highly integrated aero seatpost designs without verifying clearance first. Check your saddle rail type before ordering. All Restrap products at Cobbled Climbs are 100% genuine and authorised.

Pairs Well With

Complete your carrying setup with a handlebar roll or frame bag for longer bikepacking routes, a compact multi-tool and puncture repair kit to fill the bag purposefully, a set of waterproof inner liners for monsoon season, and a reliable cycling computer for navigation on unfamiliar roads.
