Salut Shock Pump

Fork and rear shock pressure is one of the most overlooked tuning variables for Indian riders tackling the Western Ghats, Leh's rocky descents, or Pune's broken tarmac. The Birzman Salut Shock Pump is built specifically for suspension inflation — delivering precise, controlled pressure to air forks and rear shocks where a standard floor pump simply cannot reach. Cobbled Climbs is the authorised retailer for Sr Suntour in India.

Use Cases

Workshop use. Floor pump for daily tyre pressure adjustment before rides.

On-the-road inflation. Compact mini pump for puncture repair on rides.

Tubeless setup. High-volume inflator for tubeless bead seating.

Our Take

India's riding surfaces demand well-tuned suspension. Whether you're descending the Ghats near Lonavala, navigating Hyderabad's patchy roads, or threading through Delhi's urban craters, dialled shock pressure makes a measurable difference. The Birzman Salut gives you a high-pressure gauge and a bleed valve so you can fine-tune without guessing. It's a workshop essential selected for Indian riders who take their suspension setup seriously.

Sizing for Indian Riders

Shock pumps are not sized by body type, but pump hose length and gauge readability matter in practice. If you service your bike in a cramped home garage — common in Mumbai or Chennai apartments — a compact pump body with a clear gauge face is worth prioritising. The Salut's design suits confined spaces. Verify your fork or shock's valve type before first use.

Compatibility Notes

The Birzman Salut is compatible with standard Schrader air valves found on most air forks and rear shocks from brands including RockShox, Fox, SR Suntour, and DT Swiss. It is not intended for tyre inflation. Always bleed pressure gradually using the release valve and re-check gauge after each adjustment. Store away from direct sunlight and heat above 40°C to protect the gauge.

Pairs Well With

Complete your suspension service kit with a suspension lubricant or fork oil, a torque wrench for damper adjustments, a shock pump gauge adapter if needed, and a multi-tool for trailside tweaks. A quality floor pump for tyre inflation rounds out any home workshop setup.
