Salvo Sport Sunglasses

The Tifosi Salvo Sport Sunglasses are designed for cyclists who demand reliable eye protection on every ride. With non-polarised lenses, a unisex adult fit, and a frame built for movement, the Salvo handles the full spectrum of Indian riding — from dusty Pune bypass roads to the blinding afternoon light on Chennai's ECR coastal stretch.

Use Cases

Daily training. Protective eyewear for sun, dust, and insect protection on Indian roads.

Race day. Wide-coverage frames with race-tuned lenses for visibility and aerodynamic fit.

Variable conditions. Photochromic or interchangeable lenses for varied light through Ghat tunnels and dawn-to-day rides.

Our Take

At Rs. 2,690, the Tifosi Salvo sits at an accessible price point for a dedicated cycling sunglass. Indian roads serve up dust, debris, and relentless sun in equal measure, and this frame's wraparound coverage addresses all three. The non-polarised lens is a smart call for riders who rely on Garmin or Wahoo displays mid-ride — polarised lenses can wash out screen visibility. A dependable daily trainer choice for Hyderabad, Delhi, and Ahmedabad riders alike.

Sizing for Indian Riders

Tifosi runs a one-size-fits-most adult frame that suits a broad range of face shapes. Indian riders with narrower or smaller facial profiles should pay attention to frame width before ordering. Adjustable nose pads and temple tips offer a degree of personalisation — particularly useful when wearing a helmet in 35°C+ heat where slippage becomes a real concern.

Compatibility Notes

The Salvo works with the majority of modern cycling helmets — confirm temple arm clearance with your specific lid before riding. Lenses are non-polarised. Clean with a microfibre cloth and purpose-made lens cleaner only; harsh chemicals or paper towels will degrade the lens coating. Store in a hard case when not in use.

Pairs Well With

Complete your kit with a well-ventilated road or XC helmet, a moisture-wicking cycling cap for under-helmet sweat management during summer climbs in Lonavala or Coorg, a microfibre lens cloth, and a hard protective eyewear case for travel days.
