SC 55 Wheelset

The Vision SC 55 Wheelset is a carbon aero road wheelset built for riders who want meaningful speed gains without sacrificing durability on the varied surfaces that define Indian riding — from smooth Delhi expressways to the rough climbs around Lonavala, Khandala, and the Western Ghats. With a deep carbon profile optimised for aerodynamic efficiency and lateral stiffness, it suits both competitive riders and serious enthusiasts chasing faster times.

Use Cases

Daily training. Durable rim and reliable hub bearings for repeat training use.

Race day. Aerodynamic depth and weight-optimised construction for competitive efforts.

All-rounder. Versatile depth and width for road, gravel, or all-road riding.

Our Take

At Rs. 1,39,200, the Vision SC 55 is a serious performance investment selected for riders who want aero gains they can feel on flat Indian roads and stiffness that rewards on Ghat climbs. The carbon construction keeps weight in check without the fragility concerns common on budget carbon. For Pune, Hyderabad, or Chennai riders regularly hitting 30km/h+, the aerodynamic advantage at this rim depth is genuinely significant and well worth the outlay.

Sizing for Indian Riders

Wheelset fit comes down to three checks: axle standard (QR 130mm or thru-axle 12x100/12x142mm), brake type (rim or disc, Centerlock or 6-bolt), and cassette body compatibility (Shimano HG, SRAM XDR, or Campagnolo). In India's heat, ensure your tyre choice handles 35°C+ tarmac temperatures. Confirm maximum tyre clearance with your frame before ordering.

Compatibility Notes

Verify axle standard, brake interface, and cassette body before ordering. These wheels suit modern road groupsets across Shimano, SRAM, and Campagnolo ecosystems — confirm the correct freehub body is specified. If running tubeless, use tubeless-compatible tyres, quality sealant, and correct valves. Rim brake versions require the appropriate pad compound for carbon rims.

Pairs Well With

Complete your SC 55 build with quality road tyres matched to the rim's inner width, tubeless sealant and valve kit for puncture protection on Indian roads, carbon-specific brake pads if running rim brake, and a reliable torque wrench for correct installation. A lightweight cassette is a natural next upgrade.
