Scalatore

The Festka Scalatore is a bespoke carbon road frameset built for riders who treat every kilometre with intention. Engineered for climbing performance, it strikes a precise balance between stiffness and compliance — qualities that matter whether you are chasing watts on a Pune criterium or grinding up the Western Ghats on a long weekend ride.

Use Cases

Daily training. Reliable use across Indian training conditions — heat, humidity, and rough tarmac.

Race day. Performance-grade construction for competitive efforts.

Long rides. Built for full-day rides across Western Ghats, Sahyadri, or Nilgiri climbs.

Our Take

The Scalatore's name says everything: this is a climber's frame. For Indian riders targeting Lonavala, Khandala, Ooty, or Coorg, the geometry rewards commitment and punishes half-measures. Carbon construction keeps weight in check without sacrificing the torsional stiffness needed to convert sprint efforts into speed. At Rs. 9,99,000, this is a declaration of purpose — a frame you build a race programme around, not a hobby.

Sizing for Indian Riders

Festka uses seat tube length or S/M/L sizing depending on the model variant. Indian riders tend to have shorter torsos relative to leg length compared to European averages, so pay close attention to reach and stack numbers, not just frame size. In 35°C+ heat, a slightly more upright position reduces fatigue on longer climbs. A professional bike fit before ordering is strongly recommended.

Compatibility Notes

Before building, confirm your bottom bracket standard (BSA, PF30, BB86, or T47), headset dimensions, seatpost diameter, and brake mount type. The Scalatore is designed around modern component standards — consult the Festka geometry sheet or contact Cobbled Climbs' build team for configuration advice specific to your groupset and wheel choice.

Pairs Well With

Complete your Scalatore build with a lightweight carbon wheelset, a high-performance road groupset, an aero or climbing-specific cockpit, and premium road tyres suited to the varied surfaces of Indian climbs. All available at Cobbled Climbs with free delivery on orders above Rs. 2,500.
