Scultura 4000 2025

The Merida Scultura 4000 2025 is a purpose-built carbon road bike that arrives as a complete, race-ready platform. Pairing a carbon frame with a Shimano 105 groupset and disc brakes, it targets Indian riders who are serious about performance — whether that means Tuesday evening chaingang sessions or lining up at a weekend road race. Cobbled Climbs is the authorised retailer for Look in India.

Use Cases

Daily training. Reliable use across Indian training conditions — heat, humidity, and rough tarmac.

Race day. Performance-grade construction for competitive efforts.

Long rides. Built for full-day rides across Western Ghats, Sahyadri, or Nilgiri climbs.

Our Take

At Rs. 2,09,990, the Scultura 4000 earns its place as a genuine performance road bike for Indian conditions. The Shimano 105 groupset delivers reliable shifting under the pressure of Pune–Lonavala climbs or the long flats outside Hyderabad, while disc brakes inspire confidence during sudden monsoon downpours. Carbon construction keeps the ride responsive without punishing you on patchy tarmac. A serious machine for serious riders.

Sizing for Indian Riders

Merida sizing runs close to European norms, so most Indian riders will find their expected size accurate. However, if you ride in the heat of Chennai or Delhi summers, a slightly longer reach can feel cramped as you fatigue — when between sizes, size up for endurance comfort. Measure inseam and stand-over height carefully and cross-reference Merida's geometry chart. A professional bike fit is strongly recommended after purchase.

Compatibility Notes

The Scultura 4000 ships with all components specified — frame, groupset, wheels, and cockpit. Pedals are not included; choose SPD-SL or Look Kéo compatible pedals to match your road cycling shoes. The disc brake standard is compatible with most aftermarket road rotors. Schedule a first-service inspection after the initial 100 km to verify torque settings and cable tension.

Pairs Well With

Complete your Scultura 4000 setup with road cycling shoes and compatible clipless pedals, an aero or endurance road helmet, performance bib shorts and a jersey suited to Indian heat, a quality floor pump and CO₂ inflator for home and roadside use, and a cycling computer for tracking climbs and intervals.
