Cable Anchor - Window

The SeaSucker Cable Anchor – Window is a compact, vacuum-mount accessory designed to keep your bike's cable or security lock neatly routed and under control when transporting your ride. Purpose-built for SeaSucker rack systems, it attaches to any smooth glass surface without drilling, tools, or permanent hardware — making it a practical upgrade for Indian cyclists who use their cars regularly for weekend rides to Lonavala, Coorg, or the Ooty climbs.

Our Take

Indian road trips with bikes involve more variables than most — cattle crossings, speed breakers every 500 metres, and stretches of rough tarmac between Pune and the Western Ghats that send vibrations through your entire car. A cable flapping loose against a freshly painted frame is an avoidable nightmare. The SeaSucker Cable Anchor does a simple job exceptionally well: it holds your security cable or lock tether firmly to the car window, keeping everything tidy and scratch-free on long drives.

Sizing for Indian Riders

This is a one-size accessory, so no fit conversion is needed. The vacuum cup is designed to bond to clean, smooth automotive glass — a quick wipe with a dry cloth before mounting is especially important in dusty Indian conditions (Delhi, Ahmedabad, and Chennai roads are particularly unforgiving on suction surfaces). Avoid mounting on tinted or textured rear windows where suction may be inconsistent.

Compatibility Notes

Compatible with any SeaSucker bike rack system and most standard security cables or lock tethers. The vacuum mount works on smooth, clean automotive glass only — not fabric, plastic trim, or rough surfaces. Regularly inspect the suction cup for dust or grit before use, particularly after monsoon drives when road grime builds up quickly. Not suitable for permanent installation.

Pairs Well With

Complete your car-transport setup with a SeaSucker bike rack, a quality bike lock or cable, a frame protection wrap or foam pad to guard against transport scratches, and a wheel bag for added security during long highway runs to your favourite cycling destinations.
