Shuriken Zenith Oversize Pulley for Shimano 9100/9150/r800/r8050

The Token Shuriken Zenith Oversize Pulley is a precision-engineered derailleur upgrade for Shimano Dura-Ace 9100/9150 and Ultegra R8000/R8050 groupsets. Oversized pulley wheels reduce chain wrap angle and lower friction at the rear derailleur, offering a measurable efficiency gain on every ride — from Pune's Sinhagad climbs to flat city loops in Hyderabad or Chennai.

Use Cases

Daily training. Reliable use across Indian training conditions — heat, humidity, and rough tarmac.

Race day. Performance-grade construction for competitive efforts.

Long rides. Built for full-day rides across Western Ghats, Sahyadri, or Nilgiri climbs.

Our Take

If you're running a Shimano Dura-Ace or Ultegra groupset and want a straightforward drivetrain efficiency upgrade, the Token Shuriken Zenith is a compelling choice. India's heat and dust accelerate cage wear on standard pulleys, and the Shuriken Zenith's quality bearings handle those conditions well. For riders regularly tackling the Western Ghats or logging high kilometres around Delhi and Bangalore, this is a worthwhile, no-compromise upgrade at Rs. 24,000.

Sizing for Indian Riders

This is a mechanical component, not a sized apparel item — no body measurement is required. However, confirm your Shimano groupset generation before ordering: this pulley is designed specifically for 9100, 9150, R8000, and R8050 derailleurs. Using it on older or newer Shimano generations may cause compatibility issues. When in doubt, contact Cobbled Climbs before placing your order.

Compatibility Notes

Compatible with Shimano Dura-Ace 9100/9150 and Ultegra R8000/R8050 rear derailleurs only. Verify your derailleur model before purchasing. Not compatible with older 9000-series or newer 12-speed Shimano groupsets. Standard installation tools apply; no specialist press required. Clean the derailleur cage thoroughly before fitting to ensure correct seating and bearing life.

Pairs Well With

Complete your drivetrain upgrade by pairing the Shuriken Zenith with a quality chain, derailleur cable and housing set, chain lube suited for Indian heat and monsoon conditions, and a cassette from a compatible brand. Browse all drivetrain components at Cobbled Climbs for a matched setup.
