Slick Wax

India's roads demand more from your drivetrain than most. From the dusty climbs around Pune and Lonavala to the humid coastal rides out of Chennai and Mumbai, drivetrain contamination builds fast. Dynamic Slick Wax is a wax-based chain lubricant built for riders who want a cleaner, longer-lasting drivetrain without the grime that wet lubes attract in Indian conditions.

Use Cases

Wet conditions. Wet lube for monsoon and humid Mumbai, Goa, and Bengaluru riding.

Dry conditions. Dry lube for clean drivetrain in Delhi, Hyderabad summer conditions.

Race day. Low-friction wax-based lubes for competitive efforts.

Our Take

In a country where temperatures regularly cross 35°C and monsoon mud is a seasonal certainty, wax-based lubes earn their place. Dynamic Slick Wax lays down a dry, clean film that resists dirt pick-up far better than traditional oil-based lubes — a genuine advantage on the red-dust roads of Rajasthan or the gritty tarmac of Delhi's outer ring roads. For riders who hate scrubbing a black, gunky chain every week, this is a practical upgrade worth every rupee.

Sizing for Indian Riders

Dynamic Slick Wax is a consumable lubricant — there is no size to select. One bottle treats multiple chain applications. Riders who cover higher weekly distances, or those riding through Coorg or Ooty's wet hill stages regularly, will go through product faster and may want to stock two bottles for uninterrupted maintenance.

Compatibility Notes

Dynamic Slick Wax is suitable for use on bicycle chains across all drivetrain groupsets — road, MTB, and gravel. It is compatible with carbon fibre frames and components. Avoid applying to brake surfaces, rotors, or rubber. Clean the chain thoroughly with a degreaser before first application to ensure proper wax adhesion and maximum performance.

Pairs Well With

Complete your maintenance kit with a chain cleaning device, a cycling-specific degreaser for pre-wax prep, a set of detailing brushes for cassette and derailleur cleaning, and a frame protection wax for monsoon-season corrosion defence. All categories are stocked at Cobbled Climbs.
