Spare Rubber Base - AERO Seatpost

Keeping your Cateye light securely mounted on your seatpost is a small detail that makes a real difference on Indian roads. The Cateye Spare Rubber Base for AERO Seatpost is a genuine replacement part that restores a firm, rattle-free fit to your rear light mount — essential when you're navigating the broken tarmac and speed bumps found on roads from Pune to Chennai.

Use Cases

Daily training. Reliable use across Indian training conditions — heat, humidity, and rough tarmac.

Race day. Performance-grade construction for competitive efforts.

Long rides. Built for full-day rides across Western Ghats, Sahyadri, or Nilgiri climbs.

Our Take

India's roads are punishing on small components. Rubber bases crack, split, or simply go missing during rides on uneven surfaces — and without a secure base, your rear light wobbles or falls off entirely. This genuine Cateye replacement part costs less than Rs. 250 and saves you from hunting for a whole new mount. For riders doing early-morning loops around Hyderabad or evening rides in Delhi, keeping your light mounted firmly is non-negotiable for safety.

Sizing for Indian Riders

This rubber base is designed specifically for Cateye's AERO Seatpost mount system. Before ordering, confirm that your existing Cateye light uses the AERO Seatpost bracket. This is a replacement component, not a universal fit — sizing here means matching your exact Cateye model rather than body measurements. Contact Cobbled Climbs if you are unsure which rubber base your light mount requires.

Compatibility Notes

Compatible with Cateye lights that use the AERO Seatpost mounting bracket. This is a genuine Cateye spare part — verify your light model uses this specific mount before purchasing. Not compatible with FlexTight or universal bracket systems. All Cateye products at Cobbled Climbs are 100% genuine and authorised.

Pairs Well With

Round out your rear visibility setup with a Cateye rear light, a spare mounting strap for seatpost fitment, a front handlebar light, and a USB charging cable for your existing lights. A complete, secure lighting setup matters most on unlit stretches between cities.
