Spare Trunk Mount Rubber Strap for Genisis

Replacement parts for bike transport racks are easy to overlook until something breaks mid-trip. The BNB Spare Trunk Mount Rubber Strap for Genisis keeps your Genisis trunk-mount car rack fully functional, replacing worn or damaged rubber straps that secure the rack to your vehicle — a small component that makes a real difference to load stability and paint protection on long drives to trailheads.

Use Cases

Daily training. Reliable use across Indian training conditions — heat, humidity, and rough tarmac.

Race day. Performance-grade construction for competitive efforts.

Long rides. Built for full-day rides across Western Ghats, Sahyadri, or Nilgiri climbs.

Our Take

If you use a BNB Genisis trunk-mount rack regularly, rubber straps take the most wear — UV exposure in Indian summers above 35°C, monsoon humidity, and the vibration of long highway drives all degrade rubber faster than you might expect. Keeping a spare on hand means your car rack stays reliable whether you're driving to Lonavala for a weekend climb or loading up for a Coorg touring trip. At Rs. 1,690, this is sensible preventive maintenance.

Sizing for Indian Riders

This strap is a direct replacement part specifically for the BNB Genisis trunk-mount rack model. It is not a universal fitting. Confirm that your existing rack is the Genisis model before ordering. If you are unsure of your rack model, check the label on the rack frame or contact Cobbled Climbs — our team can help you identify the correct part quickly.

Compatibility Notes

Compatible exclusively with the BNB Genisis trunk-mount car rack. Not designed for other BNB rack models or third-party racks. Rubber straps should be inspected periodically for cracking or loss of elasticity, especially after prolonged exposure to Indian summer heat. Replace both straps together where possible to maintain even tension across the rack mount.

Pairs Well With

Complete your car transport setup with a BNB Genisis trunk-mount rack (if not already owned), a bike frame protection pad or contact guard, a rear bike light for highway visibility during transport, and a lockable cable or rack security strap for stops along the route.
