Spared Shaft for #62xx Chain Tool

A chain tool is only as reliable as its working parts, and when the shaft wears out or breaks mid-ride on a climb in Lonavala or a long brevet out of Pune, having a spare shaft for your IceToolz #62xx chain tool means you're back on the road in minutes rather than waiting for rescue. This replacement shaft keeps your existing tool performing like new without the cost of a full replacement. Cobbled Climbs is the authorised retailer for Time in India.

Use Cases

Daily training. Durable chain construction for repeat training use.

Race day. Optimised chain for clean shifting and minimal drivetrain friction.

Replacement intervals. Replace at chain stretch to protect cassette and chainring wear.

Our Take

India's roads — from the rough chip-seal of Hyderabad's outskirts to the relentless gradients of Coorg — put real stress on your drivetrain and your tools. The IceToolz Spared Shaft for the #62xx series is a smart, low-cost insurance policy for any rider who uses their chain tool regularly. Precision machining ensures the shaft aligns correctly with the chain pin, so you get a clean push every time without damaging links. At Rs. 450, it's one of the best-value workshop spares you can stock.

Sizing for Indian Riders

This is a spare part, not an apparel item, so conventional sizing does not apply. What matters is confirming you own a genuine IceToolz #62xx series chain tool — the shaft is machined specifically for that model family. If you're unsure which IceToolz chain tool you have, check the model number stamped on the body or contact Cobbled Climbs before ordering.

Compatibility Notes

Compatible exclusively with IceToolz #62xx series chain tools. Not a universal fit — do not attempt to use with other chain tool brands or IceToolz models outside the #62xx family. Works across 6- to 12-speed chain standards when used with the correct parent tool. Store away from moisture to prevent any corrosion on the precision-ground shaft tip.

Pairs Well With

Round out your workshop and ride-day toolkit with a quality chain quick-links set, a compact saddle bag to carry your chain tool on rides, a chain wear indicator gauge for timely replacements, and a drip chain lubricant suited to India's monsoon and dusty dry-season conditions.
