Spear Frameset

The Seka Bikes Spear Frameset is a full-carbon road disc frameset engineered for riders who want genuine aerodynamic performance without sacrificing comfort on long days in the saddle. Built around Seka's proprietary Wind Eye technology, the Spear challenges European aero road bikes at a price that makes serious sense for Indian riders chasing timed climbs or fast sportives.

Our Take

For riders tackling the Lonavala and Khandala climbs or pushing pace on the Pune-Mumbai expressway service roads, the Spear offers a rare combination of aero efficiency and vertical compliance. The 23% increase in vertical compliance is particularly welcome on Indian tarmac, which rarely forgives a rigid frameset. At Rs. 2,89,900 with free delivery from Cobbled Climbs, this is a serious contender for your next performance build.

Sizing for Indian Riders

Seka Bikes follows a geometry approach described as 5+2 Non-linear, meaning each size is independently tuned rather than scaled uniformly. Indian riders tend to have shorter torsos relative to leg length, so consider sizing down one step from a European recommendation and adjusting saddle height and stem reach accordingly. In 35°C+ conditions common to Chennai, Hyderabad, and Delhi summers, a slightly more upright fit also aids breathing on long efforts.

Compatibility Notes

The Spear Frameset is disc-brake specific — rim-brake groupsets will not fit. It is compatible with current road disc standards. True-One-Piece Molding construction means internal routing; confirm your groupset's cable or electronic wire lengths before building. Clean the frame after monsoon rides to protect any exposed hardware.

Pairs Well With

Complete your Spear build with a high-performance disc road groupset, a carbon wheelset suited to Indian road conditions, an aero or endurance road handlebar and stem combo, and a breathable summer road bib short for those long climbs toward Coorg or Ooty.
