Spear Aero Carbon Seatpost

The Seka Bikes Spear Aero Carbon Seatpost brings performance-grade carbon construction to Indian riders seeking marginal gains on every climb and sprint. Whether you're pushing through the Western Ghats, tackling the switchbacks of Ooty, or keeping pace on Pune's fast training roads, this seatpost pairs low weight with an aero profile that justifies its place on a serious build.

Our Take

India's roads demand components that can absorb punishment while staying light, and the Spear Aero Carbon Seatpost does exactly that. The aero-profiled carbon shaft cuts through the air on fast descents and flat stretches alike, while the carbon layup takes the edge off rough surfaces — a real advantage on the chip-seal roads around Lonavala or the broken tarmac common in Delhi's outer circuits. At Rs. 19,900 with free delivery above Rs. 2,500, this is a considered upgrade for riders ready to commit to a full aero build.

Sizing for Indian Riders

Seka Bikes follows standard metric diameter sizing, so measure your seat tube bore carefully before ordering — a 0.2 mm mismatch causes creaking and can damage the post. In India's 35°C+ summers, carbon expands minimally compared to alloy, making it a smart choice for riders in Chennai, Hyderabad, and Ahmedabad where heat is constant. Use carbon assembly paste at the correct torque; never overtighten.

Compatibility Notes

The Spear Aero Carbon Seatpost suits round seat tubes on road and aero frames. Confirm your frame's seat tube diameter and minimum insertion depth before fitting. Carbon-specific assembly paste and a torque wrench are mandatory — do not exceed the manufacturer's stated clamp torque. Not compatible with dropper-post routing or suspension frames. Clean with mild soap; avoid solvent-based degreasers on the carbon surface.

Pairs Well With

Complete the build with a carbon-railed saddle for maximum weight savings, an aero handlebar and stem combination to match the speed-focused aesthetic, a lightweight carbon water bottle cage for consistent gram-counting, and a quality torque wrench kit to ensure safe installation of all carbon contact points.
