Spectrum Helmet

Riding in India demands a helmet that works as hard as you do. Whether you're grinding up the Western Ghats near Lonavala, navigating Pune's morning traffic, or clocking early kilometres on Delhi's ring roads before the heat peaks, the Rudy Project Spectrum Helmet brings certified protection, active ventilation, and a secure adjustable fit to every ride.

Use Cases

Daily training. Ventilated construction for 35°C+ Pune, Hyderabad, and Chennai training rides.

Race day. Aerodynamic profile and certified safety standards for competitive efforts.

Long endurance rides. Comfort-first padding and adjustable retention for full-day rides.

Our Take

At Rs. 15,990, the Spectrum sits in a well-considered spot for Indian road cyclists who want a reputable European brand without paying top-tier race pricing. Rudy Project's ventilation design genuinely matters when temperatures cross 35°C in Chennai or Hyderabad — airflow through the shell keeps your head cooler during sustained efforts. The adjustable retention system accommodates a range of head shapes, which matters given the variation across Indian riders. A dependable everyday training helmet selected for Indian conditions.

Sizing for Indian Riders

European helmet sizing runs true but head shapes differ. Measure your forehead circumference carefully — S fits 51–55 cm, M fits 55–59 cm, L fits 59–63 cm. Indian riders with broader head profiles should try M before defaulting to L. The helmet should sit level, one finger above the eyebrows, with the chin strap forming a V under each ear. In monsoon humidity, a snug retention fit prevents shift during wet descents.

Compatibility Notes

Certified to international cycling safety standards. Compatible with Rudy Project's own eyewear range, which is designed for temple-arm clearance with their helmets. Works across road, gravel, and commute disciplines. Replace the helmet immediately after any significant impact — internal foam damage is invisible externally. UV exposure during long Indian summer rides accelerates shell ageing; replace every five years regardless of visible condition.

Pairs Well With

Complete your setup with Rudy Project or compatible cycling sunglasses for glare and dust protection, a lightweight cycling cap to manage sweat under the helmet on long climbs, a quality rear visibility light for early-morning or evening rides, and breathable cycling jerseys suited to 35°C+ conditions. Free delivery on orders above Rs. 2,500 with cash on delivery available across India.
