Spectrum Pro Air Jersey 3.0

The Maap Spectrum Pro Air Jersey 3.0 is a race-cut performance jersey engineered for hot-weather riding across India's varied terrain. Built with lightweight mesh panelling and a close-to-skin fit, it channels airflow where you need it most—crucial for sustained efforts through Lonavala climbs or Bangalore's humid mornings. The third iteration refines the Spectrum Pro line with improved stretch fabric and moisture management that suits Indian riders tackling 35°C+ conditions without compromising aerodynamics.

Our Take

This jersey excels in Indian heat where ventilation matters as much as speed. The mesh side panels and back construction create genuine airflow during hard efforts, making it ideal for Chennai's coastal humidity or Delhi's summer training rides. The Pro Air 3.0 sits closer than Maap's Alt-Road jerseys, rewarding committed riders who prioritise performance over casual comfort. Pockets are reinforced to handle Indian essentials—phone, tools, extra nutrition for long Western Ghats descents. At Rs. 15,900, it's premium positioning reflects race-day engineering that works year-round in tropical conditions.

Sizing for Indian Riders

Maap sizing runs European with a race fit—order your usual size for tight aero performance or size up for comfort in extreme heat. Indian riders with broader shoulders or chest may find the small fits snug; medium suits 38-40 chest, large covers 42-44. The stretch fabric accommodates movement but won't feel loose. In 38°C Mumbai afternoons, the close fit actually aids moisture wicking—fabric stays in contact with skin to pull sweat away rather than creating air gaps where heat builds.

Compatibility Notes

Works smoothly with Maap bib shorts and Team Bib 2.0 for consistent fit across the waistline. Three rear pockets fit standard nutrition, multi-tools, and smartphones up to 6.5 inches. Machine wash cold with similar colours, air dry away from direct sun to preserve fabric elasticity. The Pro Air construction pairs with base layers in cooler months or works standalone April through October across most Indian regions.

Pairs Well With

Combine with Maap Team Bib Shorts for a complete pro-level kit. Add lightweight arm coolers for variable Pune morning temperatures. Pair with merino base layers for monsoon riding when you need moisture management without overheating. Consider Maap's Deep Winter Gloves for early morning winter rides in North India, or their Race Cap for sun protection during midday training blocks.
