Speedtrap Sunglasses

Indian roads demand eyewear that earns its keep — from the blinding afternoon glare on Delhi's ring roads to the dusty switchbacks above Lonavala and the low-light tunnels cutting through the Western Ghats. The 100% Speedtrap Sunglasses is a wide-coverage performance frame built for cyclists who treat eye protection as non-negotiable, not an afterthought. Cobbled Climbs is the authorised retailer for 100% in India.

Use Cases

Daily training. Protective eyewear for sun, dust, and insect protection on Indian roads.

Race day. Wide-coverage frames with race-tuned lenses for visibility and aerodynamic fit.

Variable conditions. Photochromic or interchangeable lenses for varied light through Ghat tunnels and dawn-to-day rides.

Our Take

The Speedtrap's extended wraparound frame gives broad facial coverage that suits India's high UV index and persistent road dust. Whether you're grinding a dawn climb out of Pune, spinning through Hyderabad's outer ring, or pushing pace on Chennai's ECR, the wide lens reduces squinting fatigue over long hours. Non-polarised lenses mean you can glance at your Garmin without colour distortion — a practical call for training rides where data matters.

Sizing for Indian Riders

100% sizes the Speedtrap as one-size-fits-most for adults. Riders with narrower or shorter faces — common across Indian body types — should check the frame width before ordering. Adjustable nose pads and temple tips allow moderate fit customisation. In 35°C+ heat, a snug but not tight fit prevents the frame slipping on sweat-dampened skin during climbs.

Compatibility Notes

The Speedtrap's temple arms are designed to sit inside most modern cycling helmets without pressure points — verify clearance with your specific helmet brand. Non-polarised lenses work cleanly with GPS computers and touchscreen devices. Clean lenses with a microfibre cloth and dedicated lens cleaner only; avoid paper towels or harsh chemicals that scratch optical coatings.

Pairs Well With

Round out your kit with a well-ventilated road or trail helmet, a cycling cap for sweat management under the helmet on hot climbs, a microfibre lens cleaning cloth for dusty Indian roads, and a hard protective case to keep the frame safe during transport to your next sportive or group ride.
