Stamp 2 Large Platform Pedal

The Crank Brothers Stamp 2 Large Platform Pedal is built for riders who want a flat pedal with real grip and a wide platform underfoot. Whether you're navigating Pune's broken city roads, tackling the Western Ghats on trail descents, or simply commuting daily in Chennai's heat, this pedal offers confident foot placement and dependable performance ride after ride.

Use Cases

Daily training. Reliable cleat retention and bearing durability for repeat training use.

Race day. Lightweight design and clean release for competitive efforts.

Indoor training. Smooth float and compatibility with indoor trainer setups.

Our Take

The Stamp 2 Large stands out for riders with bigger feet or those who simply prefer a larger contact zone for better power distribution. The concave platform and removable pins give genuine grip across wet and dry conditions — a real advantage during the monsoon months when mud and moisture make flat pedals a liability. For Indian mountain bikers and gravel riders from Coorg to Manali, this is a practical, well-considered choice at a fair price point.

Sizing for Indian Riders

The Large size suits most Indian riders with shoe size EU 43 and above. The wider platform helps riders whose feet tend to shift in heat — a common issue on long climbs above 35°C in Ooty or Lonavala. If you're between sizes, the larger platform generally offers better stability and is preferred by most trail and enduro riders in India.

Compatibility Notes

The Stamp 2 is a flat platform pedal with a standard 9/16-inch axle thread, compatible with virtually all adult crank arms. No cleats or cycling shoes are required — regular trainers or dedicated flat pedal shoes work well. Clean the pin threads periodically to prevent corrosion during monsoon season. Pins are replaceable when worn.

Pairs Well With

Complete your flat pedal setup with dedicated flat pedal shoes for maximum grip, a quality trail or gravel bike, Five Ten or similar sticky-rubber footwear, and a set of replacement pins for long-term maintenance. Browse all MTB and gravel components at Cobbled Climbs for a complete build.
