Steerer Carbon Spacer Set

Carbon steerer spacers may be small components, but they play a meaningful role in your bike's cockpit setup. The Zipp Steerer Carbon Spacer Set lets you fine-tune stack height with precision, keeping your front end light and your position dialled — whether you're grinding the Western Ghats or commuting through Pune's pothole-riddled streets. Cobbled Climbs is the authorised retailer for Time in India.

Use Cases

Daily training. Reliable use across Indian training conditions — heat, humidity, and rough tarmac.

Race day. Performance-grade construction for competitive efforts.

Long rides. Built for full-day rides across Western Ghats, Sahyadri, or Nilgiri climbs.

Our Take

For riders who take fit seriously, swapping aluminium spacers for carbon is a worthwhile refinement. Carbon steerer spacers reduce rotational mass at the cockpit and resist the corrosion that Mumbai humidity and monsoon grime inflict on metal components over time. They're a small upgrade with a clean aesthetic payoff — ideal for anyone building or refreshing a performance road or gravel bike in India's punishing climate.

Sizing for Indian Riders

Steerer spacers are not sized by body measurements but by steerer tube diameter — typically 1-1/8 inch or 1.5 inch. Confirm your fork's steerer diameter before ordering. Indian riders often run more stack than European counterparts due to longer riding positions preferred on hilly routes like Lonavala or Ooty — so having the right spacer combination matters for sustainable comfort.

Compatibility Notes

The Zipp Steerer Carbon Spacer Set is designed for carbon steerer tubes. Do not use carbon spacers on aluminium steerer forks, as compression forces differ. Always torque your stem and top cap to the manufacturer's specification using a calibrated torque wrench — over-tightening carbon components causes irreversible damage. Verify spacer height stacks match your current setup before installation.

Pairs Well With

Round out your cockpit build with a quality carbon-compatible stem, a Zipp or matching-brand handlebar, a precision torque wrench for safe installation, and carbon assembly paste to prevent slipping without over-tightening. These additions ensure your front end is both performance-ready and properly secured.
