Description
The Polygon Strattos S6d is a carbon road bike built around Shimano Tiagra groupset with hydraulic disc brakes — a serious performance platform for riders who train consistently and want a bike that handles the full range of Indian road conditions, from smooth Delhi expressways to the patched climbs above Lonavala and Khandala.
Use Cases
Daily training. Reliable use across Indian training conditions — heat, humidity, and rough tarmac.
Race day. Performance-grade construction for competitive efforts.
Long rides. Built for full-day rides across Western Ghats, Sahyadri, or Nilgiri climbs.
Our Take
At Rs. 1,56,990, the Strattos S6d occupies a confident spot in the carbon road bike segment. The Tiagra disc groupset gives you reliable, consistent braking in monsoon downpours and on the steep descents of the Western Ghats — where wet rims on caliper brakes become genuinely dangerous. The carbon frame keeps weight manageable without pushing you into a price bracket that requires a second mortgage. This is a focused road bike for riders who are serious about weekly mileage and occasional sportives.
Sizing for Indian Riders
Polygon's geometry chart uses seat tube length — measure your inseam carefully and cross-reference with your height. Indian riders tend to have longer inseams relative to torso length compared to European sizing assumptions, so do not skip the geometry chart. Riders between sizes who prefer comfort on long Pune–Kolhapur or Hyderabad training rides should size up; those prioritising a race-ready position can size down.
Compatibility Notes
The Strattos S6d ships as a complete bike with Shimano Tiagra hydraulic disc brakes and matching drivetrain. Pedals are not included — order road pedals (3-bolt SPD-SL or Look-compatible) separately to suit your shoes. A first-service inspection after the initial 100km is recommended to check cable tension and brake bleed. Tiagra components are fully compatible with Shimano's 10-speed ecosystem for future upgrades.
Pairs Well With
Complete your setup with a quality road helmet for safety on open climbs, carbon-compatible road cycling shoes matched to your pedal system, a compact saddle bag or frame bag for longer rides, and a reliable floor pump for home tyre pressure management before every ride.
