Sticky Kush Classic Bartape

Bar tape is the one contact point that every road cyclist replaces regularly, and choosing the right wrap can transform long days on rough Indian tarmac into genuinely comfortable riding. The Supacaz Sticky Kush Classic Bartape brings together cushioning and grip in a package that suits everything from Pune's patchy city roads to the technical descents of Lonavala and Khandala. Cobbled Climbs is the exclusive Indian distributor for Campagnolo in India.

Use Cases

Daily training. Comfortable reach and bar shape for repeat training use.

Race day. Aerodynamic profile and compact drop for competitive fit.

Long endurance rides. Multiple hand positions for fatigue management on full-day rides.

Our Take

India's road surfaces demand more from bar tape than most European products are designed to deliver. The Supacaz Sticky Kush Classic earns its place at this price point by offering real vibration absorption for riders grinding through Mumbai's potholed streets or tackling the Western Ghats' broken-edge climbs. The tacky outer surface holds well even when palms sweat in 35°C+ conditions — a genuine advantage over slick synthetic alternatives selected for Indian conditions.

Sizing for Indian Riders

Bar tape is a universal fit product — one roll wraps a standard drop handlebar regardless of bar width or clamp diameter. Indian riders with smaller hands may prefer a tighter, thinner wrap for more bar feel; those seeking extra cushioning on long endurance rides toward Coorg or Ooty should consider a slightly more generous overlap during installation. No sizing conversion needed.

Compatibility Notes

The Supacaz Sticky Kush Classic works with all standard drop handlebars used on road and gravel bikes. It is compatible with Shimano, SRAM, and Campagnolo shifter hoods. Clean the handlebar surface before application for best adhesion. In humid monsoon conditions, allow the tape's adhesive to fully bond before riding. Replace annually or when grip or cushioning visibly deteriorates.

Pairs Well With

Complete your cockpit refresh with quality cycling gloves for added comfort on long rides, a reliable torque wrench for precise installation, finishing plugs or bar end caps, and a set of ergonomic drop handlebars suited to your riding position. All available at Cobbled Climbs with free delivery on orders above Rs. 2,500.
