Sticky Kush Star Fade Bartape

Bar tape is one of the most personal contact points on a road bike — and in India's punishing conditions, it does far more than Look good. The Supacaz Sticky Kush Star Fade Bartape brings together comfort, grip, and a bold visual identity that stands out on climbs from Lonavala to Ooty and every sweaty training session in between.

Use Cases

Daily training. Comfortable reach and bar shape for repeat training use.

Race day. Aerodynamic profile and compact drop for competitive fit.

Long endurance rides. Multiple hand positions for fatigue management on full-day rides.

Our Take

Indian roads demand bar tape that can handle everything: rough patches on the Mumbai–Pune Expressway, sweaty palms in Chennai's humidity, and the constant vibration of broken tarmac outside Hyderabad. The Sticky Kush Star Fade delivers a cushioned, sticky grip that stays secure when your gloves are soaked through. The Star Fade graphics add genuine flair without compromising function — a rare combination at this price point.

Sizing for Indian Riders

Bar tape is a universal fit product — one roll covers a standard drop handlebar. Indian riders with larger hands or those who prefer more padding may choose to double-wrap at the tops. In high-heat conditions above 35°C, common from April to June across Delhi, Ahmedabad, and Pune, a thicker wrap improves grip security during longer rides.

Compatibility Notes

Supacaz Sticky Kush tape is compatible with all standard drop handlebars. It works cleanly with Shimano, SRAM, and Campagnolo lever setups. The self-adhesive backing holds well on both aluminium and carbon bars. Clean the bar surface before application for best adhesion. Replace tape every six to twelve months under regular Indian riding conditions, or sooner if grip deteriorates.

Pairs Well With

Complete your cockpit setup with cycling gloves suited to Indian heat, a quality stem matched to your riding position, an ergonomic saddle for long-distance comfort, and a torque wrench for precise, safe installation. All available at Cobbled Climbs.
