Super-9 Hub Bearing Kit

The Zipp Super-9 Hub Bearing Kit is a precision replacement bearing set designed specifically for the Super-9 hub. India's monsoon humidity, dusty roads from Delhi to Chennai, and the grit of Western Ghats descents put hub bearings under constant stress — this kit gives you a factory-quality rebuild with genuine Zipp components at Rs. 3,590, delivered free anywhere in India.

Use Cases

Daily training. Reliable use across Indian training conditions — heat, humidity, and rough tarmac.

Race day. Performance-grade construction for competitive efforts.

Long rides. Built for full-day rides across Western Ghats, Sahyadri, or Nilgiri climbs.

Our Take

Hub bearings are the silent killers of rolling efficiency. Riding in Pune or Hyderabad through monsoon months accelerates wear faster than most riders realise. The Zipp Super-9 Hub Bearing Kit restores that fresh-wheel spin without the cost of a full hub replacement. For anyone running Super-9 wheels in serious training or racing, keeping a kit on hand is smart, practical maintenance. Selected for Indian conditions — heat, humidity, and road grit included.

Sizing for Indian Riders

This is a hub-specific bearing kit, not apparel — sizing here means compatibility, not body fit. The Super-9 Hub Bearing Kit is engineered to match Zipp's Super-9 hub dimensions precisely. Before ordering, confirm your wheel's hub model. Riders in Leh or Ooty tackling extended climbs will want to verify their hub generation — contact the Cobbled Climbs team if you are unsure which kit your wheel requires.

Compatibility Notes

This kit is designed for the Zipp Super-9 hub specifically — it is not a universal bearing kit. Verify your hub model before purchasing. Installation requires a bearing press tool; do not hammer bearings in. Compatible with Zipp's Super-9 carbon disc and clincher wheel variants. Use quality bearing grease rated for sealed cartridges during installation to maximise service life in humid Indian conditions.

Pairs Well With

Complete your hub service with bearing-compatible grease or lubricant, a quality bearing press and removal tool set, replacement hub seals or end caps, and a torque wrench for precise reassembly. A spoke tension meter is a useful addition if you are doing a full wheel rebuild alongside the bearing swap.
