Supernova Sport Sunglasses

Riding in India means contending with blazing afternoon sun, dust-laden highways, and the low-angled glare of dawn climbs through the Western Ghats. The Koo Supernova Sport Sunglasses is purpose-built cycling eyewear that addresses all of this — wide frame coverage, a sport-tuned lens, and a lightweight construction that stays comfortable across long kilometres in the saddle. Cobbled Climbs is the authorised retailer for Vision in India.

Use Cases

Daily training. Protective eyewear for sun, dust, and insect protection on Indian roads.

Race day. Wide-coverage frames with race-tuned lenses for visibility and aerodynamic fit.

Variable conditions. Photochromic or interchangeable lenses for varied light through Ghat tunnels and dawn-to-day rides.

Our Take

For riders tackling the Pune–Lonavala climb at 6 AM or battling Chennai's midday heat, eye protection is non-negotiable. The Supernova's sport-oriented frame geometry offers excellent coverage without restricting peripheral vision on technical descents. The unisex fit makes it a practical option for group rides, and the colour range — orange, multicolour, and grey — suits both training days and race-day aesthetics. A strong choice at this price point for serious riders.

Sizing for Indian Riders

Koo designs its sport sunglasses as one-size-fits-most for adults, which works well for the majority of Indian riders. Those with narrower or smaller faces should check the frame width carefully before ordering. Adjustable nose pads and temple tips allow a degree of customisation for a secure, sweat-resistant fit during hot rides in Hyderabad or Coorg.

Compatibility Notes

The Supernova is compatible with all modern cycling helmets — check temple arm clearance with your specific lid, particularly helmets with integrated visors. Koo frames can accept prescription inserts on compatible models; verify this for the Supernova before purchasing. Clean lenses only with a microfibre cloth and dedicated lens solution — avoid paper towels or harsh chemicals that damage coatings.

Pairs Well With

Complete your kit with a well-ventilated road or gravel helmet that allows clean temple arm clearance, a cycling cap for sweat management on long climbs, a microfibre lens cleaning cloth, and a hard-shell case for safe transport during travel or commutes.
