Swamp Gravel Drop Handlebar

Gravel riding in India demands a handlebar that can manage the chaos of broken tarmac, forest tracks, and the occasional surprise pothole on a Pune-Tamhini or Ooty hill descent. The Cinelli Swamp Gravel Drop Handlebar is designed precisely for this kind of mixed-terrain riding, blending Italian cockpit engineering with the practical demands of adventure cycling. Cobbled Climbs is the exclusive Indian distributor for Campagnolo in India.

Use Cases

Daily training. Comfortable reach and bar shape for repeat training use.

Race day. Aerodynamic profile and compact drop for competitive fit.

Long endurance rides. Multiple hand positions for fatigue management on full-day rides.

Our Take

The Swamp is Cinelli's answer to riders who refuse to stay on smooth roads — a crowd that grows by the day across India's expanding gravel scene. The flared drop geometry gives you a wider, more planted grip on technical descents through the Western Ghats or the unpaved backroads of Coorg and Leh. For Indian conditions specifically, that extra control when your front wheel finds loose gravel or a rain-rutted track is genuinely useful, not just a marketing claim.

Sizing for Indian Riders

Measure shoulder-to-shoulder and match that to your bar width — most Indian male riders fall in the 40–44cm range, while female riders often fit 38–40cm. The Swamp's flare means the drops sit wider than the hoods, which feels unfamiliar at first but pays off on descents. European sizing translates directly; no adjustment needed for Indian body proportions.

Compatibility Notes

The Swamp uses a standard 31.8mm clamp diameter, fitting the vast majority of road and gravel stems. It is compatible with Shimano, SRAM, and Campagnolo lever systems. Wrap with quality bar tape and observe the stem manufacturer's torque spec during installation. Replace the bar after any significant impact crash, even without visible damage.

Pairs Well With

Complete your gravel cockpit with quality bar tape rated for humid monsoon conditions, a compatible alloy or carbon stem, cycling gloves for long adventure days on rough surfaces, and a torque wrench to ensure safe installation. All categories available at Cobbled Climbs.
