Sync 50 Wearable Light

The Cateye Sync 50 Wearable Light is built for riders who need to be seen — whether navigating the pre-dawn chaos of Pune's highways, riding through Delhi's smog-thickened evenings, or completing the final kilometres of a Coorg descent after sunset. As a wearable rear light, it brings visibility directly to the rider's body, not just the bike.

Use Cases

Commuting. Visibility for early-morning and evening rides through Indian traffic.

Group rides. Be-seen lighting for low-visibility conditions on group rides.

Night training. High-output beam for night rides on unlit roads.

Our Take

Most rear lights stay on the seatpost and disappear behind car bonnets in heavy traffic. The Sync 50's wearable design puts the light at torso height — far more visible to drivers in India's dense, unpredictable traffic. For riders commuting through Chennai or Hyderabad, or finishing early-morning rides on the Western Ghats before full daylight, this placement difference genuinely matters. A well-considered pick for safety-conscious cyclists.

Sizing for Indian Riders

The Sync 50 is a wearable light rather than a sized garment, so fit concerns centre on how it attaches — typically to a jersey, backpack, or saddle bag. Ensure your attachment point is accessible and unobstructed. If you ride with a hydration pack or cycling backpack, check that the mounting clip suits the strap or panel thickness before ordering.

Compatibility Notes

The Cateye Sync 50 is designed for wearable use — compatible with jersey pockets, backpack straps, and saddlebags. It charges via USB, so ensure you have a compatible cable and power bank or wall adapter. For Cateye Sync system compatibility, pair with other Sync-series lights. All Cateye products at Cobbled Climbs are 100% genuine and authorised.

Pairs Well With

Complete your visibility setup with a front handlebar light for road illumination, a Sync-compatible front light to use the linked-flash system, a lightweight cycling backpack or saddle bag to mount the light on, and a USB power bank for multi-day touring or bikepacking trips through Leh or Spiti.
