Sync Core Rechargeable Front Light

Riding in Indian cities before sunrise or after sunset demands more than a basic blink. The Cateye Sync Core Rechargeable Front Light is built for riders who take visibility seriously — whether navigating Pune's pre-dawn highway stretches, Chennai's monsoon-soaked roads, or the unlit ghats between Lonavala and Khandala. Rechargeable via USB, it keeps your setup simple and your battery topped up.

Use Cases

Commuting. Visibility for early-morning and evening rides through Indian traffic.

Night training. High-output beam for night rides on unlit Indian roads.

Group rides. See-and-be-seen lighting for low-visibility conditions.

Our Take

For Indian riders, a front light earns its place when it performs in two very different conditions: the blinding glare of monsoon downpours and the pitch-dark early-morning training windows that serious cyclists depend on. The Cateye Sync Core handles both with confidence. Its mount security and consistent output across modes make it a dependable daily choice for commuters in Delhi or Hyderabad and weekend climbers heading into the Western Ghats alike. At Rs. 4,990, it sits at a sweet spot of quality and value.

Sizing for Indian Riders

Lights don't come in S/M/L, but mount fit matters. The Sync Core uses Cateye's FlexTight bracket system, compatible with standard round handlebars. If you ride a bike with an aero or oversized bar — common on newer road bikes and flat-bar urban setups — confirm bar diameter before ordering. Cobbled Climbs' team can advise on mount compatibility if you're unsure.

Compatibility Notes

The Sync Core is designed for standard handlebar diameters and works across road, MTB, and commuter setups. It charges via USB, compatible with any standard USB power source or power bank — useful on multi-day rides. Pairs with Cateye's Sync rear lights for linked mode operation. All Cateye products at Cobbled Climbs are 100% genuine and authorised.

Pairs Well With

Complete your visibility setup with a Cateye Sync rear light for matched operation, a cycling helmet with rear light mount, a weatherproof handlebar bag for carrying your charging cable, and a compact backup light for longer rides into Coorg or Ooty. Free delivery on orders above Rs. 2,500.
