Synergetic Wet Oil Chain Lube

India's riding conditions are among the most demanding in the world — monsoon downpours on the Western Ghats, dust-laden roads around Pune and Delhi, and relentless heat above 35°C in Chennai and Hyderabad all accelerate drivetrain wear at a pace that surprises even experienced riders. The Silca Synergetic Wet Oil Chain Lube is purpose-built for exactly these conditions, offering long-lasting protection in high-moisture, high-contamination environments.

Use Cases

Daily training. Durable chain construction for repeat training use.

Race day. Optimised chain for clean shifting and minimal drivetrain friction.

Replacement intervals. Replace at chain stretch to protect cassette and chainring wear.

Our Take

Silca's Synergetic Wet Oil is one of the most thoughtfully formulated wet lubes available at Cobbled Climbs. For Indian riders tackling monsoon-soaked climbs near Lonavala or Coorg, or grinding through Kolkata's humid summer commutes, this lube holds on where thinner oils wash away. It keeps chains quiet, reduces metal-on-metal wear, and genuinely extends drivetrain life — meaning fewer costly cassette and chainring replacements. At Rs. 2,500, it pays for itself quickly.

Sizing for Indian Riders

This is a lubricant, so sizing does not apply in the traditional sense. What matters is application volume — a single drop per link is enough; over-application attracts dirt and negates performance. In Mumbai or Chennai during monsoon season, plan to clean and re-lube more frequently than you would in drier climates like Leh. One bottle goes a long way with disciplined, measured application.

Compatibility Notes

Silca Synergetic Wet Oil is compatible with all chain speeds and drivetrain standards — including Shimano, SRAM, and Campagnolo across road, MTB, and gravel setups. Safe for carbon fibre frames and components when applied carefully to the chain only. Avoid contact with brake tracks and rotor surfaces. Clean the chain thoroughly before first application for best results.

Pairs Well With

For a complete drivetrain care routine, pair this wet lube with a quality chain cleaning device, a set of stiff-bristle drivetrain brushes, a biodegradable degreaser for monsoon deep-cleans, and a chain wear indicator tool to track when replacement is due. Together, these form a solid maintenance kit for Indian riding.
