Terranova Gravel Vest

The Santini Terranova Gravel Vest is a sleeveless technical layer built for riders who push hard across gravel tracks, mixed-terrain routes, and training rides where temperature regulation matters as much as coverage. Whether you're climbing the Western Ghats outside Pune or riding the rolling roads near Coorg, this vest gives you breathable protection without restricting arm movement.

Use Cases

Variable temperature rides. Wind-blocking front for cool morning starts that warm up during the ride.

Race day layering. Light-weight gilet that fits under a jersey or over a base layer without restricting movement.

Pre-monsoon and post-monsoon. Adds wind protection for transitional weather riding in Mumbai, Pune, and Bengaluru.

Our Take

For Indian conditions, a well-made vest earns its place year-round — not just in cool months. The Terranova's moisture-wicking fabric handles the 35°C+ heat you'll meet on Hyderabad or Chennai training rides, while the silicone hem gripper keeps things tidy over long gravel efforts. Full or partial zip ventilation lets you manage airflow when the humidity spikes. At Rs. 7,395, this is purposeful kit selected for real-world Indian riding, not just looks.

Sizing for Indian Riders

Santini uses European sizing, which cuts slimmer than Indian or Asian brands. If you typically wear M in Indian labels, start with L in Santini. Measure your chest circumference and cross-check the Santini size chart before ordering. Riders above 90kg or with broader shoulders should size up. For hot-weather riding without a base layer, your usual size works fine.

Compatibility Notes

Works across road, gravel, and MTB disciplines — versatile enough for any riding style. Pairs well with Santini base layers and arm warmers for a cohesive fit. Machine washable per care label; avoid fabric softener as it degrades moisture-wicking properties. Hang to dry and store completely dry during monsoon season to prevent mildew.

Pairs Well With

Complete your kit with gravel or road bib shorts for a matched look and fit, UV-protective arm sleeves to manage sun exposure on exposed Rajasthan or Deccan plateau rides, a well-ventilated helmet for hot-weather comfort, and cycling sunglasses for dust and glare on mixed-surface routes.
