Tetrafender R1 / R2 Fender Set

India's monsoon season transforms every ride into a spray-soaked challenge, and the Topeak Tetrafender R1/R2 Fender Set is built specifically to address that. Designed for road bikes, this front-and-rear fender set blocks wheel spray effectively, keeping your drivetrain cleaner, your kit drier, and your fellow riders grateful on group rides through Pune, Chennai, or Kolkata's wet streets.

Use Cases

Daily training. Reliable use across Indian training conditions — heat, humidity, and rough tarmac.

Race day. Performance-grade construction for competitive efforts.

Long rides. Built for full-day rides across Western Ghats, Sahyadri, or Nilgiri climbs.

Our Take

From the soaking rains of Kerala's coastal highways to Lonavala's monsoon descents, Indian riders deal with wheel spray for months at a stretch. The Tetrafender R1/R2 set earns its place as a practical, well-engineered solution for road cyclists who don't want to retire their bikes during the wet season. The clip-on design suits bikes without traditional mudguard eyelets — a common situation with modern road frames. At Rs. 5,100 with free delivery above Rs. 2,500, this is a sensible seasonal investment.

Sizing for Indian Riders

Fender sizing here is about tyre width and frame clearance, not body measurements. The R1 and R2 designations correspond to front and rear fitment respectively. Before ordering, confirm your tyre width and check that your fork and chainstay have adequate clearance for the fender blade. Riders running wider tyres common on Indian roads should verify fitment carefully.

Compatibility Notes

The Tetrafender R1/R2 is designed for road bikes and uses a tool-free clip-on mounting system, making it suitable for frames without dedicated mudguard mounts. Confirm compatibility with your fork crown and seatstay bridge geometry. Not recommended for frames with extremely tight tyre clearance. All Topeak products at Cobbled Climbs are 100% genuine and authorised.

Pairs Well With

Complete your wet-weather setup with a quality cycling cap for rain protection, a waterproof cycling jacket for monsoon commutes, overshoes to keep feet dry, and a frame bag or saddle bag for carrying essentials without soaking a backpack.
