Thermal Fourth Field III Winter Cap

The Monton Thermal Fourth Field III Winter Cap is a cycling-specific headwear piece built for riders who venture out when temperatures drop. Whether you're tackling early-morning climbs in Lonavala, pre-dawn rides through Pune's hills, or chilly winter rides in Delhi, this thermal cap sits under your helmet to retain warmth without bulk — a small addition that makes a genuine difference on cold rides.

Use Cases

Under-helmet sweat management. Absorbs forehead sweat in 35°C+ heat across Mumbai, Pune, and Chennai conditions.

Sun protection. Peak shields the eyes and forehead from direct sun on long Indian summer rides.

Style and finish. Completes a coordinated kit for daily rides and group rides.

Our Take

India's winters are deceptively cold, especially in the north and at altitude. Delhi riders hitting 5°C mornings, Ooty cyclists on mist-covered descents, and Leh touring groups all know the discomfort of a cold head under a vented helmet. This thermal cap addresses exactly that problem. The synthetic fabric traps warmth effectively while the adjustable, one-size fit means it works across a wide range of head shapes — practical and no-fuss for Indian riders.

Sizing for Indian Riders

The Thermal Fourth Field III comes in a single, adjustable size that accommodates most adult head circumferences. European cycling caps tend to run slightly narrow; Indian riders with broader heads should check the Monton size chart before ordering. The adjustable fit helps compensate, and the cap sits flat under a helmet without creating pressure points around the temples.

Compatibility Notes

Designed to fit cleanly under any road or mountain helmet. The synthetic fabric is machine washable — use cold water with a gentle detergent and hang to dry. Avoid tumble drying to preserve the thermal properties. Works with the broader Monton apparel range if you're building a coordinated cold-weather kit.

Pairs Well With

Complete your cold-weather setup by pairing this cap with a thermal cycling jersey, lightweight arm warmers, full-finger cycling gloves, and a windproof gilet. Together, these pieces cover you effectively on cold Indian winter mornings without overloading your kit bag.
