Thru-axle Adaptor for Home Trainer

The Elite Thru-axle Adaptor for Home Trainer is a precision accessory that bridges your thru-axle equipped road or gravel bike to an indoor training setup. If your bike uses a thru-axle rather than a traditional quick-release skewer, this adaptor is a necessary addition before your first indoor session. Straightforward to install and built for repeated use, it keeps your training uninterrupted.

Use Cases

Indoor training. Structured workouts via Zwift, TrainerRoad, or Wahoo SYSTM.

Race day prep. Smart-trainer simulation of race-day power demands.

Year-round training. Indoor riding through Indian monsoon, peak heat, and pollution-heavy days.

Our Take

Indoor training is growing fast across Indian cities — from Pune cyclists avoiding monsoon roads to Delhi riders escaping peak-summer heat above 40°C. The Elite Thru-axle Adaptor solves a real compatibility problem cleanly and without fuss. Modern bikes increasingly ship with thru-axles, and without the right adaptor your home trainer simply will not work. At Rs. 2,990, this is a small price to protect a significantly larger trainer investment.

Sizing for Indian Riders

This is not a sized product, but compatibility is everything here. Thru-axle standards vary — the most common road sizes are 12x100mm front and 12x142mm rear. Check your bike's dropout specification before purchasing. If you are unsure, the axle diameter and thread pitch are usually printed on the existing thru-axle or listed in your bike's manual. Contact Cobbled Climbs for guidance if needed.

Compatibility Notes

Designed for use with Elite home trainers that accept thru-axle adaptors. Verify your trainer model supports this adaptor and confirm your bike's thru-axle standard (diameter, length, thread pitch) before ordering. Not compatible with traditional quick-release hubs. Clean the threads after each session to prevent corrosion, especially during humid monsoon months.

Pairs Well With

Complete your indoor training setup with a quality home trainer, a training mat to protect your floor and reduce noise, a front wheel riser block for level positioning, and a dedicated indoor cycling fan for those hot Pune or Hyderabad sessions. Free delivery on orders above Rs. 2,500.
