Thrust 7 Road Cleats (0 Deg Fixed)

The Xpedo Thrust 7 Road Cleats in 0 Degree Fixed configuration are designed for road cyclists who want a locked, efficient connection between shoe and pedal. Zero float means your foot stays in one precise position throughout the pedal stroke — ideal for experienced riders who have dialled in their cleat alignment and prioritise power transfer over lateral movement.

Use Cases

Daily training. Stiff sole and breathable upper for repeated training in Indian heat and humidity.

Race day. Power transfer and snug retention for competitive efforts.

Indoor training. Compatible with indoor trainer cleats for structured Zwift, TrainerRoad, or Wahoo SYSTM workouts.

Our Take

For riders grinding up the Western Ghats or pushing pace on Chennai's long coastal roads, the fixed 0-degree float of the Thrust 7 demands correct cleat positioning but rewards you with direct, efficient power transfer on every stroke. Indian road surfaces punish sloppy setups — so if you've had a proper bike fit, these cleats deliver the confidence you need on race day or during serious training blocks in Pune or Hyderabad.

Sizing for Indian Riders

These cleats are designed for Xpedo's road pedal system and fit standard 3-bolt road shoe cleat mounts. Indian riders training in 35°C+ heat should note that feet swell slightly — ensure your road shoes fit with this in mind before locking in your cleat position. One size fits most adult road cycling shoes with a 3-bolt pattern.

Compatibility Notes

The Thrust 7 cleats are compatible with Xpedo's road pedal range using a 3-bolt mounting pattern, similar to SPD-SL style shoes. Verify your shoe's cleat-mount pattern before ordering. Replace cleats when wear indicators show significant reduction, or annually if riding frequently through monsoon grit and dust.

Pairs Well With

Complete your contact-point setup by pairing these cleats with Xpedo road pedals, a quality pair of 3-bolt road cycling shoes, cleat wedges for knee alignment, and cleat bolts with anti-seize grease — essential for Indian humidity and monsoon conditions.
