Thudglove Suspension Cover for Thudbuster St Seatpost

The Cane Creek Thudglove Suspension Cover is a replacement protective boot designed specifically for the Thudbuster ST suspension seatpost. It shields the internal elastomer and mechanical components from dust, road grime, and monsoon mud — keeping your suspension seatpost working smoothly across India's varied riding surfaces, from Pune's potholed city roads to the gravel-strewn climbs of Coorg and Ooty.

Use Cases

Daily training. Padded palms and wicking back for repeat use on training rides.

Long endurance rides. Vibration-dampening and grip support for full-day rides over rough Indian tarmac.

Cold weather riding. Insulated construction for Delhi winter and high-altitude rides.

Our Take

If you ride a Thudbuster ST regularly on Indian roads, this cover earns its place. Monsoon season is particularly brutal on exposed suspension mechanisms — fine silt and water ingress can accelerate wear on elastomers and pivot points. The Thudglove acts as a simple, affordable defence layer. At Rs. 1,200, replacing this cover proactively is far cheaper than replacing the entire seatpost mechanism. A small but genuinely worthwhile addition for any Thudbuster ST owner riding year-round in India.

Sizing for Indian Riders

The Thudglove Suspension Cover is designed exclusively for the Thudbuster ST seatpost — it is not compatible with the LT or other Cane Creek suspension models. There is no rider-size variable here; compatibility depends entirely on your seatpost model. Confirm you own the ST variant before ordering. One size fits the ST model across all frame types and rider weights.

Compatibility Notes

Compatible only with the Cane Creek Thudbuster ST suspension seatpost. Not suitable for the Thudbuster LT. Installation is straightforward — no tools required. Rinse with clean water after wet rides and inspect periodically for cracking, especially after extended exposure to the heat and UV conditions common in Chennai, Hyderabad, and Delhi summers.

Pairs Well With

Keep your Thudbuster ST running optimally by pairing this cover with Thudbuster replacement elastomers for tuning ride compliance, suspension-compatible seatpost clamps, padded bib shorts for long-distance comfort on rough roads, and a quality saddle bag for carrying spares on extended rides.
