Tlo 62 DISC Wheelset

At Rs. 3,15,000, the Schmolke Carbon Tlo 62 DISC Wheelset sits at the top of the performance wheel market — a hand-built German carbon wheelset with a 62mm rim depth designed for disc-brake road bikes. For Indian riders chasing speed on the Pune–Mumbai Expressway or tackling the steep ramps of Lonavala and Ooty, this is a serious aerodynamic and climbing tool in one package.

Use Cases

Daily training. Durable rim and reliable hub bearings for repeat training use.

Race day. Aerodynamic depth and weight-optimised construction for competitive efforts.

All-rounder. Versatile depth and width for road, gravel, or all-road riding.

Our Take

Schmolke Carbon has built a reputation for producing some of the lightest and most precisely engineered carbon wheels in the world. The 62mm depth hits a sweet spot for Indian riding: aero enough to reward tempo efforts on flat expressway stretches around Delhi and Hyderabad, yet the disc-brake platform keeps heat management a non-issue during long Ghat descents in 35°C+ summer conditions. This is a wheelset selected for riders who refuse to compromise.

Sizing for Indian Riders

Wheelset fit depends on three compatibility checks: axle standard (thru-axle dimensions vary by frame), disc brake rotor interface (Centerlock or 6-bolt), and cassette body driver (Shimano HG, SRAM XDR, or Campagnolo). In India's year-round heat, ensure tyre clearance allows at least 28mm tyres for better comfort on rougher surfaces. Verify all three specs with your frame before ordering.

Compatibility Notes

Designed for disc-brake road bikes. Confirm your frame's specific thru-axle dimensions (front and rear) before ordering. Check cassette body driver compatibility — Shimano HG, SRAM XD/XDR, and Campagnolo bodies are typically available. Carbon rim service and spoke tension checks are recommended periodically; use a torque wrench during installation to protect carbon interfaces.

Pairs Well With

To complete the setup, pair with high-performance tubeless road tyres suited to the rim width, tubeless valves and sealant, disc brake rotors in the correct interface standard, and a quality torque wrench for safe carbon installation.
