Toolkit (8504/8410/8713/8506/8508)

Roadside mechanicals in India don't wait for a convenient location. Whether you're 40km into a Lonavala climb, halfway through a Coorg coffee trail, or grinding through a Chennai Sunday morning route, having the right tools on hand is the difference between finishing your ride and calling for a pickup. The Rohloff Toolkit (8504/8410/8713/8506/8508) is a dedicated set of precision workshop and field tools built specifically for Rohloff Speedhub maintenance and servicing.

Use Cases

Workshop use. Reliable tool for home or workshop bike maintenance.

On-the-road repairs. Compact construction for carrying on Indian rides.

Drivetrain service. Specific tool for chain, cassette, or bottom bracket maintenance.

Our Take

Rohloff's Speedhub is one of cycling's most reliable drivetrains, but it demands the correct tools for proper servicing — generic alternatives simply don't fit. For Indian riders on loaded tourers, bikepacking rigs, or urban commuters running the Speedhub, this kit is essential. In a country where specialist workshops are few and far between outside metros like Pune, Hyderabad, and Delhi, owning this toolkit means you're never entirely dependent on a mechanic.

Sizing for Indian Riders

This is a toolkit, not apparel — sizing in the traditional sense does not apply. What matters is confirming your bike runs a genuine Rohloff Speedhub, as these tools are engineered exclusively for Speedhub servicing. Contact Cobbled Climbs if you are unsure whether your hub model is compatible with this specific tool set before ordering.

Compatibility Notes

Designed exclusively for use with the Rohloff Speedhub internal gear hub system. Tools in this set cover key Speedhub service procedures including oil changes and axle plate removal. Not intended for Shimano, SRAM, or other drivetrain systems. All Rohloff products at Cobbled Climbs are 100% genuine and authorised. Store tools away from moisture, particularly important during India's monsoon months.

Pairs Well With

Complete your Rohloff service setup with Rohloff oil change accessories, a quality workshop stand for stable servicing, a general cycling multi-tool for on-road emergencies, and a dedicated saddle bag or tool roll to carry field essentials on longer tours and bikepacking routes.
