Torq Stick 2-10 Nm Torque Wrench

Carbon stems, seatposts, and cockpit components demand precise torque — over-tighten and you risk cracking an expensive part; under-tighten and components shift mid-ride. The Topeak Torq Stick 2-10 Nm Torque Wrench brings workshop-grade fastener accuracy to your home bench or even your travel kit, covering the full range of torque values found on modern road and gravel bikes.

Use Cases

Daily training. Reliable use across Indian training conditions — heat, humidity, and rough tarmac.

Race day. Performance-grade construction for competitive efforts.

Long rides. Built for full-day rides across Western Ghats, Sahyadri, or Nilgiri climbs.

Our Take

India's riding scene has embraced carbon in a big way — from Pune club riders to Hyderabad gran fondo regulars. Yet many cyclists still use plain hex keys on carbon bars and saddle rails. The Torq Stick solves this with a clearly calibrated 2–10 Nm range that covers virtually every cockpit and seatpost bolt. For anyone running mid-to-high-end components, this is not optional equipment — it is essential insurance against expensive mistakes.

Sizing for Indian Riders

This is a tool, not a garment — no body-sizing required. However, note that the 2–10 Nm range is calibrated for cycling-specific fasteners. It is not intended for pedal threads or bottom bracket cups, which typically require higher torque values. If you are unsure which torque spec applies to your components, check the manufacturer's imprint on the component itself or contact Cobbled Climbs for guidance.

Compatibility Notes

The Torq Stick accepts standard 1/4-inch hex bits and works with all major cycling standards including carbon and alloy cockpits, clamp bolts, stem bolts, seatpost clamps, and bottle cage mounts. Not suitable for pedal installation or crank bolts. Store away from direct monsoon humidity and wipe the mechanism dry after wet rides to maintain calibration accuracy.

Pairs Well With

Complete your workshop setup with a quality hex bit set or multi-bit driver, carbon assembly paste for slip-free torquing on carbon contact points, a dedicated work stand for stable assembly, and a compact saddle bag to carry a mini multi-tool on the road. All categories are available at Cobbled Climbs.
