Trail Fusion Platform Pedals

The Look Trail Fusion Platform Pedals bring the brand's decades of clipless engineering to trail and mixed-terrain riding. Designed for riders who want the confidence of a platform combined with Look's precision axle and bearing construction, these pedals suit everything from Pune weekend group rides to technical descents in Coorg and Ooty.

Use Cases

Daily training. Reliable cleat retention and bearing durability for repeat training use.

Race day. Lightweight design and clean release for competitive efforts.

Indoor training. Smooth float and compatibility with indoor trainer setups.

Our Take

Look has long been the benchmark for clipless pedal engineering, and the Trail Fusion Platform applies that pedigree to off-road and adventure use. For Indian riders dealing with dusty gravel roads in the Aravallis or slick monsoon tarmac on Western Ghats climbs, the wide platform surface and reliable cleat engagement offer genuine confidence. At Rs. 4,999 with free delivery above Rs. 2,500, this is a considered upgrade over budget platform pedals.

Sizing for Indian Riders

Platform pedals have no cleat sizing to worry about, but axle thread is the standard 9/16in compatible with almost all crank arms on the market. The platform dimensions suit most adult shoe sizes. In India's heat — regularly above 35°C in Hyderabad, Chennai, and Ahmedabad — metal platforms dissipate heat better than composite alternatives and maintain grip even through sweaty summer rides.

Compatibility Notes

Standard 9/16in axle thread fits virtually all adult cranksets. These are flat platform pedals, so no cleats or special shoes are required — any flat-sole shoe works. Clean grip pins periodically to remove accumulated mud and grit from trail riding. Inspect and grease axle bearings every season or after prolonged monsoon riding to maintain smooth rotation.

Pairs Well With

Match these pedals with trail or flat-bar cycling shoes for maximum grip pin engagement. Five Ten-style sticky-rubber footwear works particularly well. A quality multi-tool with pedal wrench function is essential for installation and travel. Trail gloves and a helmet complete a capable trail setup for riders exploring routes around Lonavala, Khandala, or Leh.
