Trvs 1 Flat Pedals

The Xpedo Trvs 1 is a flat pedal built for hybrid and road cyclists who want a reliable, low-maintenance platform underfoot. Constructed from aluminium with a metal body, it suits riders in Indian cities and on popular weekend routes — from Pune's Sinhagad climb to Chennai's ECR — where consistent grip and durability matter every kilometre.

Use Cases

Daily training. Reliable cleat retention and bearing durability for repeat training use.

Race day. Lightweight design and clean release for competitive efforts.

Indoor training. Smooth float and compatibility with indoor trainer setups.

Our Take

Flat pedals often get overlooked, but the Trvs 1 makes a strong case for riders transitioning from clipless or simply wanting freedom of foot placement on mixed terrain. For Indian conditions — 35°C+ heat, monsoon-slicked roads, and the stop-start reality of city riding in Delhi or Hyderabad — a well-made flat pedal with a grippy platform is often the most practical choice. The aluminium construction keeps weight sensible without sacrificing durability.

Sizing for Indian Riders

Flat pedals are not size-specific, but platform width matters for foot support. Riders with larger feet (EU 44+) will appreciate a broader platform for better power distribution on long climbs. In humid conditions common across coastal cities like Mumbai, Chennai, and Kochi, shoe sole grip on the pedal surface is critical — pair with a grippy MTB or touring shoe for best results.

Compatibility Notes

The Trvs 1 uses a standard 9/16-inch thread, compatible with virtually all adult cranksets on hybrid and road bikes. No cleat system is required — these are flat platform pedals. Available in Black and Gray finishes. Shipped from Mumbai for fast delivery across India. Clean the platform periodically to remove road grit and monsoon mud for longer bearing life.

Pairs Well With

For a complete flat-pedal setup, consider pairing the Trvs 1 with grippy flat cycling shoes or MTB trail shoes, handlebar grips for matching control confidence, a multi-tool for trail-side pedal adjustment, and a quality bike lock for city use.
