Trvs 9 Flat Pedals

The Xpedo Trvs 9 is a flat pedal built for mountain and hybrid riding, offering a wide aluminium platform that keeps your feet planted on technical trails, gravel paths, or city streets. Available in Black, White, and Red, it suits riders across Pune, Coorg, Ooty, and Leh who prefer the freedom and accessibility of clipless-free riding.

Use Cases

Daily training. Reliable cleat retention and bearing durability for repeat training use.

Race day. Lightweight design and clean release for competitive efforts.

Indoor training. Smooth float and compatibility with indoor trainer setups.

Our Take

For Indian riders exploring trail networks in the Western Ghats or navigating unpredictable road surfaces around Hyderabad and Chennai, a reliable flat pedal is genuinely practical. The Trvs 9's aluminium body keeps weight sensible without sacrificing grip underfoot. Whether you're dabbling in off-road riding near Lonavala or commuting daily in Ahmedabad's heat, this pedal earns its place on a mountain or hybrid build.

Sizing for Indian Riders

Flat pedals are one-size-fits-all in terms of axle threading — the standard 9/16-inch spindle fits virtually every crank arm. Platform width matters more in practice: the Trvs 9 suits average to larger shoe sizes comfortably. In India's 35°C+ heat, feet swell slightly, so choose shoes with enough room and pair with grippy MTB-style footwear for best control.

Compatibility Notes

The 9/16-inch threaded axle is compatible with all standard crank arms on mountain and hybrid bikes. No cleats are required — simply thread in and ride. Clean the pins and platform after monsoon rides to prevent grit buildup. Inspect bearings periodically; service or replace if play develops in the axle.

Pairs Well With

Complete your flat-pedal setup with grippy MTB-style flat shoes for maximum traction, a quality chain lubricant suited to Indian dust and monsoon conditions, handlebar grips that match your riding style, and a reliable multi-tool for trailside adjustments.
