Trvs Duo Clipless Pedals (one Side SPD

The Xpedo Trvs Duo is a dual-sided clipless pedal with one SPD-compatible side, making it an intelligent choice for mountain bikers and gravel riders who want the flexibility of clipping in from either face. Built from stainless steel and aluminium in a black and silver finish, it suits riders across disciplines who demand reliable engagement without fussing over pedal orientation.

Use Cases

Daily training. Reliable cleat retention and bearing durability for repeat training use.

Race day. Lightweight design and clean release for competitive efforts.

Indoor training. Smooth float and compatibility with indoor trainer setups.

Our Take

For Indian trail riders tackling the rocky descents of Lonavala, the red soil tracks of Coorg, or the technical switchbacks above Ooty, consistent cleat engagement is non-negotiable. The Trvs Duo's dual-side design means you clip in quickly even on steep, technical starts. The SPD cleat system sheds mud efficiently — a genuine advantage during Pune's monsoon season when trails turn slick and debris-heavy. At Rs. 11,500, it sits in a sensible performance tier.

Sizing for Indian Riders

Pedals do not follow clothing sizes, but the SPD two-bolt cleat pattern is the critical fit variable. Confirm your cycling shoes carry a two-bolt SPD-compatible cleat mount before ordering. For riders with wider feet — common across Indian body types — the Trvs Duo's platform provides a stable base. In 35°C+ heat, forefoot swelling is real; a slightly looser shoe fit helps, making float adjustment on the cleat worthwhile.

Compatibility Notes

The Trvs Duo uses the standard SPD two-bolt cleat pattern on its clipless side. The pedal axle is 9/16-inch threaded, compatible with virtually all crank arms. Service the sealed bearings periodically, especially after extended monsoon riding when grit and water ingress increase wear. Left pedal axle threads reverse (anti-clockwise to tighten) — standard installation rule that still catches riders out.

Pairs Well With

Complete your drivetrain setup with SPD-compatible mountain or gravel cycling shoes, a pair of spare SPD cleats for annual replacement, a quality pedal wrench or 8mm hex key, and moisture-displacing bearing grease for monsoon maintenance. All available at Cobbled Climbs.
